Duncan's Backyard Henhouses is part of a project begun by the Environmental Youth Alliance, called the Backyard Bounty Collective. The Collective is made up of four independent businesses that focus on apiaries (bee hives), mushroom cultivation, aquaponic systems (fish and veggies together), and laying hens. Through funding from Vancity Credit Union, we are bringing these backyard farming operations to Vancouver to add variety to the city's beautiful gardens (and inspire new ones!). Not only are we selling our backyard systems, but we are also focusing on the educational component to raising these food sources.
